Alexis in France: Day 1

We left Egletons after lunch and drove an hour to get to the Limoges train station to pick up the Cunninghams.  Look how beautiful it is! 

We made a bit of a scene... we were so excited! 

We talked a million miles a minute on our drive home, catching up on life and everything Alexis & Charlie did during their stay in Paris.  

When we arrived at The Colorado it was BEAUTIFUL weather.  We put them in Chambre #2 at the big house in a cozy little room. 

Later that night, we held a big family dinner for Alexis & Charlie and the honeymooners Wes & Sheridan. 

It was a nice evening so we had our aperitifs outside. Kir is my new favorite! I like it with either white wine or champagne mixed with black currant or raspberry. 

Our dinner was RACLETTE! My favorite French dish thus far.  Alexis was a BIG fan! I will do a post on what it is and how it is done later this week :) 

Bob did some entertaining... 

Then Wes grabbed the guitar for a little John Mayer "Free Falling" 

And Logan played his infamous "Wagon Wheel" 

Which just so happened to be Alexis & Charlie's "song"... so they danced. :) 

We stayed up really late, laughed a lot, ate WAY too much fromage (cheese), and enjoyed being with our American friends.
