Our morning started off with Stella opening her French Easter basket! Mom & Dad searched all over our tiny town for plastic eggs and there were NONE. So we decided the French Easter bunny leaves bright-colored macarons instead :)

We had church around 10:30 at the Big House and read the Easter story from the Isaac's French Bible and sang a couple of hymns...some in English, some in French. Mom & Dad wore jeans but Stella dolled up for the occasion :)

After church the Isaac kiddos went on their Easter egg hunt. There were some pretty amazing hiding places seeing as we live on a few acres of land here in France :)

We ran outside for a few quick photo opps even though it was SUPER chilly! The blue skies and bright sun were just too pretty. Here is Uncle Caleb with all the French-side nieces and nephew.

After the egg hunt and few pictures, it was time for lunch. Stella slept through most of it :)

After lunch, Logan & I watched Gateway's Easter service on a live feed on our computer. (Technology is crazy, right?) Then we went on a long walk and enjoyed the nice weather. We ended our day talking to my family in Texas and eating frozen pizzas in front of a movie :) What a memorable first Easter with Stella!
