July 11th - Worst Injury

Write about the worst injury you've ever had.

Honestly, I have been pretty lucky... the only thing that comes to mind is a concussion I suffered in 8th grade when I was in cheerleading.  We were doing a stunt on the hard gym floor and I was the flyer, lost my balance, and fell straight to the ground onto my face/ head without anyone breaking my fall.  I had a mild concussion and busted lip ... AND we had to perform in a cheer competition the next day - talk about STAGE FRIGHT!  After that incident, I was kind of a "chicken" when it came to cheer stunts and always had people spotting me when we tried something new. 

I wish I could find the pictures from that cheer competition- lets just say I could barely smile through my busted lip and forming black eye :)
