Welcome to our new home... When we got back from Dallas, Kristin and Nolan had moved next door and cleaned out their entire place. Here are a few pictures I snapped before we moved in!
I am not crazy about those white things (not sure on the name) but they are apparently quite practical when the sun is out in full force or clouds are threatening an afternoon sprinkle. I am undecided if they will stay or leave. The umbrellas and tables are not ours, but we do plan on getting some patio furniture! WE HAVE A PATIO!!!
Welcome... there is our front door.
From our front porch you can see the "Big House" where we prepare and serve all the meals.
This is the living room area when you first walk in. As you can see, we have a lofted second floor. Oh and the random dryer just hanging out. We are thrilled to have a Washer/ Dryer IN OUR HOUSE! Before, we were having to walk our laundry over to the "Big House" - its the little things :)
Hang a left and you are in our kitchen.
Back in the living room. The door on the left goes to our bathroom and the door on the right is to our bedroom.
Welcome to the bathroom.
And our teenie bedroom.
Nolan (God BLESS HIM) made a makeshift closet. I am thrilled!!!
Ta da!!!
Now onto upstairs.... That area to the right of the stairs is going to be our "office" area with my crafting and computer stuff.
This is the tiny hallway. On the right is the nursery, then a bathroom, then the guest bedroom. Out that door is another spacious patio :)
Kind of dark, but this is the view of the nursery... do you get my slanted ceilings dilemma now?
Her crib will either go on the flat wall or the far wall... It's teenie tiny but perfect for a baby!
The bathroom with a cute kiddie tub.
And a much bigger guest bedroom. Still slanted ceilings, but way more space to work with!
The upstairs patio.
The view. (The swing set is moving with Kristin and Nolan as well...just hasn't made it over yet!)
Hopefully this gives you a good idea of what our new home look like. I am so excited to start nesting and decorating! I am trying not to go too crazy knowing that IF we move back to the states, we cannot bring any furniture back with us... this is why ALL of our furniture is hodgepodge hand-me-downs at this point! I am trying my BEST to keep it that way :)
Stay tuned for progress pics...
cool!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's great Abby! And that's quite a bit of space for France! Plus you have a bathtub! I'm so jealous of your bathtub!
ReplyDelete(you can tell I'm happy for you by my overuse of exclamation points).
